How to Use the Picture Control Utility on Your Mac
If you are looking for a tool that can improve the look of your pictures, the Picture Control Utility might be the perfect solution. The software allows you to make several adjustments to one image simultaneously. These adjustments can include contrast, sharpening, saturation, and other aspects. It also allows you to use Quick Adjust to fine-tune the characteristics of each Picture Control. Despite the ease of use, the software also has a few limitations.
To get started, open Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom and import your images. If the raw files that you have imported are compatible with Photoshop, the program will automatically open Adobe Camera Raw. Next, select Edit from the menu, then select Picture Control. Once you've selected a Picture Control, it will appear in the list of options. Once you've selected the type of Picture Control, you can click on the button to make edits. After making changes to your images, you can save them as Jpegs.
If you're not happy with the default settings in Picture Control Utility, try downloading the trial version and trying it out before you purchase the full version. You can find a demo version of the software online and download the trial version for free. Picture Control Utility supports various Nikon cameras, including the 1 series, D5, D5000, D6210, and COOLPIX A. It offers a few presets and allows you to make adjustments manually.
